I captured this image at one of the stops on the bus trip to Eielson. This was taken in June and the water level was low. The scenery is amazing. My goal is to capture the scene as I remember it not how the camera captures it. We all know the disappointment when looking at our photos. Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions.
