I captured this image at one of the stops on the bus trip to Eielson. This was taken in June and the water level was low. The scenery is amazing. My goal is to capture the scene as I remember it not how the camera captures it. We all know the disappointment when looking at our photos. For those of you that have visited Denali Park, I hope it brings back good memories. For those you have not visited yet, please enjoy. Please see my other Denali images to get more information regarding my trip. The Toklat River is an 85-mile (137 km) tributary of the Kantishna River in central Alaska in the United States. It drains an area on the north slope of theAlaska Range on the south edge of the Tanana Valley southwest of Fairbanks. It issues from unnamed glaciers in the northern Alaska Range in Denali National Park and Preserve, northeast of Mount McKinley.[3] It flows generally northwest through hilly country[3] to the tundra to the north of the Alaska Range.
