This is a venamous snake known as Cottonmouth or Water Moccasin( Agistrodon piscivorus conanti). Altough renowned as dangerous and "aggressive", the cottonmouth is the least potent of the venomous snakes in Florida, Below is some interesting bio-facts. When alarmed or threatened this snake will gape its mouth to expose its white cotton lining and curved fangs. Many non-venemous snakes are misidentifed and persecuted due to their similarity of appearance to the cottonmouth. This snake is found in south eastern USA.
Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country. In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course.
