Artist's Description
On our way to the tide pools in California I found these beautiful low growing orange flowers surrounded by these huge leaves. The center of the leaves look like sparkling stars to me. Definitely grabbed my attention. The flower was asking me to take her photo. The placement of the one petal certainly looks like she is talking.

About Penny Lisowski
Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country. In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course.
