A beautiful Parrot in a beautiful setting. Can't ask for anything more. He even posed for me.
Macaws are coveted by parrot fanciers for their brilliant plumage, talking ability and colorful, intelligent personality. In the wild, the macaw's strong toes and powerful beak are well adapted to Central and South American rain forest habitats. In either setting, these awesome birds make every day a bit louder and brighter.
Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country. In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course.
