I think the reason that Irises are so beautiful is that they are so delicate and fleeting. They are beautiful to behold but after a seemingly short while they are gone and one needs to wait till next year to see them again. That is the beauty of photos and paintings. They preserve the beautiful moment in time to enjoy at any time.
Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country. In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course.
