Artist's Description
These beautiful pink magnolias can be found all over North Georgia. And they are called many different names by the locals. Many think the magnolia is white only. But there are many different varieties. Most everyone agrees that they are beautiful and wish the flowers would last longer. So I guess you could say I am capturing their beauty so they can be enjoyed all year long.
About Penny Lisowski
Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country. In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course.
