About Penny Lisowski
Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family, including grandsons Ryan and Greg.
In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country.
In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course. She also attended several photography semesters at the local community college.
In the early 2000s she started using a Nikon D100 digital camera and never looked back. She enjoys the freedom and challenges of digital photography using Photoshop to enhance her vision.
In 2004, she and her husband moved to Greenville, SC to concentrate on her Ultrasound career as Application Specialist for GE. Now that she is retired, she is concentrating on her love of photography. She has accumulated over 47,000 images according to her LightRoom Program and has picked out the best to show you.
Penny captures a moment of time in her original color photographs. She takes these images so she can share her vision of Gods creations, as seen through the lens of the camera. Her goal is to illustrate the peacefulness and energy of our world. She hopes you enjoy these photographs as much as she enjoys taking them and sharing them with you.
