Driving through the Badlands national park is an experience that is unique. The view is a scenic landscape in North dakota of mounds and formations with grass and beautiful colors. It looks like a difficult area to travel through before roads were built. And this was the Native Americans sacred land. The pioneers had a huge challenge. I can�t imagine what it was like back then. Maybe the beauty of the rugged terrain was enough to keep them going.
