The phalaenopsis moth orchid is known to be the easiest orchid to grow in your home. I captured these wine colored phalaenopsis moth orchids at a botanical garden in South Carolina. Phalaenopsis is one of the most popular orchids in the trade, through the development of many artificial hybrids.
Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country. In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course.
