This Christmas camellia was blooming beautifully in December in South Carolina. I was drawn to the beauty and simplicity od the flower and the compostion of the branches and leaves. I love the sun shining through the petals and the sost background.Camellias are a member of the tea family and grow on evergreen shrubs.
